Sapulette

Sapulette adalah salah satu fam atau marga (matarumah) Maluku yang berasal dari Negeri Ullath. Selain itu ditemukan pula berdiam di Negeri Ouw, Sirisori Amalatu, dan Booi.

Sejarah

Tidak ada catatan yang menuliskan asal-usul fam Sapulette. Menurut cerita dan tradisi di Ullath, Sapulette adalah satu dari sebagian fam asli negeri tersebut. Negeri lama yang ditempati fam ini sebelum turun ke pantai adalah Amahatu atau Amalhatu (dieja pula sebagai Amelhatu). Hingga sekarang tanah-tanah di sekitar negeri lama ini masih dimiliki dan ditempati oleh keluarga Sapulette.[1]

Adat

Fam Sapulette sebagai salah satu fam asli Ullath memiliki tiang di dalam rumah baileo. Tiang fam Sapulette terdapat di sisi sebelah timur (kiri) sehingga dikategorikan sebagai fam tomanusa (cari pulau).
