Screen Actors Guild Awards ke-8, yang menghargai pengabdian terbaik dalam penampilan film dan televisi untuk tahun 2001, diadakan pada 10 Maret 2002. Acara tersebut diadakan di Shrine Exposition Center, Los Angeles, dan disiarkan langsung oleh TNT.[1]

Nominasinya diumumkan pada 29 Januari 2002 oleh Marisa Tomei dan Ted Danson di SilverScreen Theatre, Pacific Design Center, Los Angeles.[2][3][4]
