Sendi tarsus

Sendi tarsus, hock atau gambrel adalah sendi di antara tulang tarsus dan tibia pada mamalia berkaki empat yang berjari maupun bertelapak, misalnya kuda, kucing, atau anjing.[1] Sendi ini dapat mencakup persendian antara tulang tarsus dan fibula di beberapa spesies (seperti kucing), sementara dalam spesies-spesies lain, fibula sangat menyusut dan hanya terdapat sebagai sisa vestigial yang menyatu dengan bagian distal tibia (seperti pada kuda). Dari segi anatomi, sendi ini homolog dengan pergelangan kaki manusia. Meski sendi ini ditemukan pada tetrapoda lainnya, istilah "hock" umumnya hanya mengacu kepada mamalia, terutama pada spesies terdomestikasi.
