Shell adalah tempat terpilih sensus, letaknya di Big Horn County, Wyoming, Amerika Serikat. Secara spesifik, Shell berada di kaki gunung Big Horn Mountains, mulut ngarai Shell Canyon.

Berdasarkan Sensus Amerika Serikat pada tahun 2010, populasi di Shell berjumlah 83 jiwa, dan semua wilayahnya adalah daratan, dengan wilayah totalnya 2,96 km2.[3]

Tempat tersebut dinamai untuk memperingati penemuan jumlah kerangka luar fosil yang sangat banyak. Formasi yang terungkap di dekat tempat tersebut, seperti Formasi Cloverly dan Formasi Morrison menghasilkan banyaknya fosil dinosaurus dan hewan-hewan lainnya. Di sebelah barat kota terdapat Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite, yang mengawetkan jejak kaki dinosaurus yang berasal dari periode Jura.

Shell adalah tempat tinggal stasiun bidang geologi Iowa State University.[4] Penduduk menetap di Big Horn County School District 3.[5]
