Shunga

Shunga (春画) adalah sebuah istilah Jepang untuk seni erotis. Shunga merupakan karya seni lukis bergaya ukiyo-e yang menggunakan metode printing kuno, dengan papan kayu sebagai plat cetakan. Biasanya menampilkan adegan percintaan lelaki dan perempuan, perempuan dan perempuan, lelaki dewasa dengan lelaki dewasa, atau lelaki dewasa dengan pemuda. Shunga merupakan istilah Jepang yang merujuk pada “gambar erotis”. Secara harfiah shunga berarti “gambar musim semi” sementara “musim semi” sendiri dalam bahasa Jepang merupakan eufemisme dari seks.
