Sitokrom b adalah sebuah protein yang ditemukan dalam sel-sel mitokondria eukariotik. Protein tersebut berfungsi sebagai bangian dari jaringan transportasi elektron dan merupakan subunit utama dari kompleks transmembran sitoskrom bc1 dan b6f.[1][2]
Fungsi
Dalam mitokondria eukariotik dan prokariotik aerobik, sitoskrom b adalah sebuah komponen dari kompleks jaringan pernapasan III (EC 1.10.2.2)
