Sky-Sailor

Sky-Sailor adalah pesawat terbang yang berisi sel surya di sayapnya, yang dikembangkan oleh Swiss Federal Institute of Technology di Zurich. Hal ini diharapkan akan dapat mencari permukaan Mars dan bahkan mengirim gambar kembali ke Bumi. Alasan mengapa Sky-Sailor akan memiliki keuntungan lebih besar atas rover Mars lain adalah karena dapat memindai permukaan Mars tanpa menyentuhnya pada setiap titik, yang menghilangkan banyak bahaya dan tingginya biaya energi.[1][2]


Jika proyek ini berlangsung dengan sukses, itu harus mampu mengambil gambar rinci tentang Mars, terutama di tempat-tempat rover NASA, Spirit dan Opportunity, yang tidak bisa pergi.
