Smith's Bible Dictionary, 1863

Smith's Bible Dictionary, awalnya bernama A Dictionary of the Bible, adalah kamus Alkitab dari abad ke-19 yang mengandung lebih dari empat ribu entri yang dinamai menurut editornya, William Smith. Popularitasnya begitu tinggi sehingga kamus padat itu diberi nama, "Smith's Bible Dictionary".

Kamus aslinya diterbitkan sebagai serangkaian tiga volume pada tahun 1863, di London dan Boston, Amerika Serikat. Edisi pertama ini diikuti pada tahun 1893 dengan edisi diperluas empat volume yang diterbitkan di Amerika Serikat sebagai A dictionary of the Bible comprising its antiquities, biography, geography, and natural history, diedit oleh Smith dan J. M. Fuller.

Publikasi asli sekarang dalam domain publik; beberapa turunan versi komersial masih memiliki hak cipta.

Salah satu kontributor Alkitab adalah George Edward Posting (dari American University of Beirut (AUB)).[1]
