Sorø (pengucapan bahasa Denmark: [ˈsoːˌʁœˀ]) adalah sebuah kota di munisipalitas Sorø, Region Sjælland yang terletak pulau Zealand (Sjælland) di bagian timur Denmark. Berdasarkan sensus tahun 2022, penduduk di kota ini berumlah 7.999 orang.[1]

Sorø didirikan pada tahun 1161 oleh Uskup Absalon, yang kemudian juga mendirikan kota Kopenhagen, dan merupakan kota tempat Akademi Sorø berada. Akademi ini didirikan pada tahun 1140. Sorø Klosterkirke, gereja tempat Uskup Absalon dan Margaret I dari Denmark dimakamkan juga dibangun di tahun yang sama (Margaret kemudian dipindahkan ke Katedral Roskilde, Roskilde).
