South China Morning Post (alias 'SCMP' atau 'the Post', Hanzi sederhana: 南华早报; Hanzi tradisional: 南華早報; Pinyin: Nánhuá Zǎobào; Jyutping: naam4 waa4 zou2 bou3), bersama dengan edisi Minggu-nya, Sunday Morning Post, adalah surat kabar Hong Kong berbahasa Inggris pertama, yang diterbitkan oleh SCMP Group dengan sirkulasi 104,000.

Reginald Chua, deputi manajer penyunting The Wall Street Journal dan mantan penyunting The Wall Street Journal' edisi Asia, ditunjuk secara ketua penyunting pada 2 Juli 2009, menggantikan CK Lau. Chua digabung oleh David Lague, awalnya International Herald Tribune dan The Wall Street Journal, sebagai manajer penyunting.[1] Sejak Chua meninggalkan jabatan, jabatan tersebut digantikan oleh mantan Deputi Penyunting Cliff Buddle.

South China Morning Post Ltd didirikan oleh Tse Tsan-tai dan Alfred Cunningham pada 1903. Edisi lembar pertama diterbitkan pada 6 November 1903.

Dari masa pendiriannya, dari masa dinasti Qing (dinasti Ching) sampai 1913, satu tahun setelah pendirian Republik Tiongkok, surat kabar tersebut dikenal, dalam bahasa Mandarin, sebagai 《南清早報》 (Nánqīng Zǎobào, South Ching Morning Post). Pada 1913, nama Tiongkok-nya diganti jadi 《南華早報》 (South China Morning Post), dan menjadi nama tetap sejak saat itu.

Nama Mandarin Sunday Morning Post adalah 《星期日南華早報》 (Xīngqīrì Nánhuá Zǎobào Sunday South China Morning Post).
