Subsatelit

Gambaran seniman terhadap eksobulan Kepler-1625b I yang mengorbit eksoplanet Kepler-1625b. Kepler-1625b I diperkirakan memiliki sebuah subsatelit.[1][2]

Subsatelit (atau sub-satelit) adalah sebuah satelit buatan atau alami yang mengorbit sebuah satelit alami, atau "bulan dari bulan".

Tidak ada "bulan dari bulan" atau sub-satelit yang diketahui hingga 2018 di Tata Surya atau sekitarnya. Dalam kebanyakan kasus, efek pasang surut planet akan membuat sistem seperti itu tidak stabil.
