Subspesies
Dalam zoologi, dan juga di cabang biologi lainnya, subspesies, upaspesies atau upajenis adalah peringkat takson yang merupakan subordinat dari spesies. Upaspesies adalah grup taksonomik yang sedikit terpisah dari spesies utama. Karakteristiknya berasal dari perubahan yang terjadi atau evolusi akibat distribusi geografikal atau isolasi dari spesies utama. Upaspesies juga dapat dideskripsikan sebagai diversifikasi spesies utama.
