Suku Awe adalah salah satu kelompok etnis yang mendiami Distrik Kais, Kabupaten Sorong Selatan, Papua Barat Daya. Nama Awe berarti 'mari'. Suku Awe terdiri dari beberapa fam, yaitu Awaje, Aume, Budori, dan Kumude.[1] Penduduk Kampung Benawa II disebut juga Awee Mareno atau Kosiriago saat Peperangan Hongi. Suku ini terdiri dari fam Aume, Kabie, Ohame, Yare, Oraite, More, Modupe, dan Bodie.[2]
