Takeshi Taketsuru

Takeshi Taketsuru (bahasa Jepang: 竹鶴威, 6 Maret 1924 – 17 Desember 2014) adalah seorang pengusaha whisky asal Jepang.[1] Ia adalah keponakan dari Masataka Taketsuru, dari saudarinya Nobuyo, dan istrinya Rita Taketsuru , pendiri perusahaan Nikka Whisky sebelum diadopsi oleh mereka setelah kematian ayahnya pada 1943.[2][3] Setelah kematian mereka, ia mengambil alih perusahaan tersebut,[4] dan memperluas bisnisnya.[2]

Ia meninggal pada 17 Desember 2014, dalam usia 90 tahun.[1] Menikahi istrinya, Utako, pada 1951, ia meninggalkan dua anak, Kotaro dan Minobu.
