Taksonomi Linnaeus

Taksonomi Linnaeus adalah suatu sistem klasifikasi ilmiah yang mengelompokkan organisme ke dalam suatu hierarki. Sistem ini dirintis pada abad ke-18 oleh Carolus Linnaeus, seorang ilmuwan Swedia, terutama melalui dua bukunya Systema Naturae dan Species Plantarum. Menurut sistem ini, klasifikasi diawali dengan tiga kerajaan besar, yang selanjutnya dibagi lagi menjadi kelas dan ordo. Ordo kemudian dibagi lagi menjadi genus dan selanjutnya spesies.
