Tambang Valea Chioarului adalah tambang besar di sebelah barat Rumania, tepatnya di Provinsi Maramureş, 30 km sebelah selatan Baia Mare dan 520 km sebelah barat laut ibu kota, Bukares. Valea Chioarului merupakan salah satu cadangan bentonit terbesar di Rumania dengan perkiraan kandungan sebesar 20 juta ton.[1]
