Taotie (Hanzi: 饕餮) adalah sebuah motif yang ditemukan pada karya-karya perunggu ritual Tiongkok dari dinasti Shang dan dinasti Zhou.[1] Rancangan tersebut biasanya terdiri dari sebuah topeng zoomorfik, yang dirancang sebagai bagian depan yang berbentuk simetris, dengan sepasang mata dan biasanya tanpa bagian rahang bawah. Beberapa orang berpendapat bahwa rancangan tersebut bermula dari potongan-potongan batu giok yang ditemukan di situs-situs Neolitikum seperti budaya Liangzhu (3310–2250 SM).[2] Terdapat juga kemiripan menonjol dengan tembikar bercat yang ditemukan di Xiajiadian.
