Telau

Telau merujuk pada area spesifik pada bulu hewan yang menunjukkan perbedaan warna dibandingkan dengan warna dasar tubuh. Pewarnaan telau dapat ditandai oleh warna tubuh yang relatif lebih pucat dengan area tubuh tertentu yang lebih gelap atau terang, meliputi wajah, telinga, kaki, ekor, serta organ reproduksi luar, sebagaimana teramati pada kucing siam.[1] Telau dapat ditemukan pada berbagai spesies mamalia seperti kucing, anjing, kuda, sapi, kelinci, tikus, babi, keledai, dan domba.[2][3]
