Telegraf nirkabel
Telegraf nirkabel adalah telegrafi elektrik yang tidak membutuhkan kabel untuk menghubungkan masing-masing perangkat. Telegraf nirkabel lebih dikenal dalam menyebutkan sistem radio telegrafi awal yang menggunakan komunikasi dalam bentuk gelombang radio. Meskipun saat pertama kali istilah ini muncul pada akhir abad ke 19 istilah ini juga merujuk pada berbagai teknik eksperimental dalam mengomunikasikan telegraf secara nirkabel, seperti fotolistrik dan telegrafi induksi.[1][2]
Telegrafi nirkabel berarti kode morse yang di transmisikan melalui gelombang elektromagnetis, yang awalnya disebut 'Gelombang Hertz' dan sejak tahun 1910 disebut secara umum sebagai gelombang radio,[3] membuatnya kemudian disebut sebagai readiotelegraf.
