Teluk Santa Catalina, atau disebut juga sebagai Teluk Catalina, adalah teluk di Samudra Pasifik yang terletak di pantai barat Amerika Utara. Pesisir timur teluk ini milik negara bagian California, Amerika Serikat, dan Baja California, Meksiko. Kota terbesar di tepi teluk adalah San Diego. Pulau-pulau di sekitar teluk termasuk Pulau Santa Catalina. Teluk ini memiliki luas lebih dari 100 km persegi dan berbatasan dengan pantai timur Catalina dan pantai-pantai di Orange County, wilayah Los Angeles, dan San Diego. Teluk ini terletak di daerah yang aktif secara seismik (rawan gempa bumi).[1]

Sejarah

Teluk ini pertama kali ditelusuri oleh para penjelajah Eropa pada tahun 1542, ketika Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo berlayar dari Navidad ke San Salvador bersama dua kapal lainnya.[2]
