Misi Gregorius

Misi Gregorius[1] atau misi Agustinus[2] adalah sebuah misi Kristen yang dikirim oleh Paus Gregorius Agung pada 596 untuk mengkonversi masyarakat Angelsaksen di Inggris.[3] Misi tersebut dikepalai oleh Agustinus dari Canterbury. Pada waktu kematian misionaris terakhir pada 653, misi tersebut telah menyebarkan agama Kristen di selatan Inggris. Bersama dengan misi Irlandia dan Franka, misi tersebut mengkonversi bagian lain dari Inggris serta memengaruhi misi Hiberno-Skotlandia di benua Eropa.
