Tenda bunga

Tenda bunga merupakan perhiasan bunga yang berfungsi seperti kelopak bunga dan mahkota bunga tetapi secara morfologi tidak dapat dibedakan. Helai tenda bunga dinamakan tepal.

Kelopak dan mahkota pada bunga dari sejumlah kelompok tumbuhan berbunga memiliki penampilan yang serupa dan tidak menempati lingkaran yang terpisah dengan jelas (distinct). Contoh kelompok ini adalah suku Magnoliaceae. Untuk menghindari kesalahan penyebutan, dipakai istilah tenda bunga bagi perhiasan bunganya. Penggunaan istilah tepal tidak konsisten. Adakalanya, petal dan sepal dapat dibedakan lingkarannya, tetapi tetap disebut sebagai tepal.
