Tevatron adalah pemercepat partikel milik Fermilab di Batavia, Illinois, Amerika Serikat. Pemercepat partikel ini merupakan pemercepat partikel terbesar kedua di dunia setelah Penumbuk Hadron Raksasa (LHC). Tevatron mempercepat proton dan antiproton di cincin sepanjang 6,28 km (3.90 mil) dengan energi hingga 1 TeV.[1] Tevatron selesai dibangun pada tahun 1983 dan menghabiskan biaya $120 juta.[2]
Pada 10 Januari 2011, Tevatron diumumkan akan ditutup pada akhir September 2011,[3] karena sudah digantikan oleh LHC[4] which yang mulai beroperasi pada awal tahun 2010. Cincin utama Tevatron mungkin akan digunakan kembali untuk percobaan ke depan, dan komponennya mungkin dikirim ke pemercepat partikel lainnya.[5]
