The Unknown War (bahasa Indonesia: [Perang Tak Dikenal] Galat: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (bantuan); dalam bahasa Rusia: Великая Отечественная Война, Velikaya Otechestvennaya Voyna (Perang Patriotik Raya) atau Неизвестная война, Neizvestnaya voyna) adalah serial dokumenter televisi Amerika Serikat yang menampilkan sejarah konflik Perang Dunia II antara Jerman Nazi dan Uni Soviet. Tiap-tiap episode dokumenter ini sepanjang 48 menit dan mengambil format yang mirip dengan serial dokumenter The World at War. Klip video yang disertakan dalam dokumenter ini dipotong dari 1.000 km lebih rol film yang diambil oleh para kamerawan Soviet sejak hari pertama perang, 22 Juni 1941, hingga masuknya Tentara Merah ke Berlin pada bulan Mei 1945. Sebagian besar klip video tersebut belum pernah ditayangkan selain melalui serial dokumenter ini.

Serial dokumenter sepanjang 20 episode ini dibawakan oleh Burt Lancaster (pemenang Academy Award) yang menghabiskan waktu selama tiga minggu di Uni Soviet untuk keperluan pengambilan gambar di tempat. Georgy Zhukov dan Vasily Chuikov diwawancarai dalam dokumenter ini, juga Leonid Brezhnev yang kala itu menjabat sebagai Sekretaris Jenderal Partai Komunis Uni Soviet.
