Theodore Earl Butler, (12 Oktober 1861 – 2 Mei 1936) adalah seorang pelukis impresionis Amerika. Ia lahir di Columbus, Ohio, dan pindah ke Paris untuk belajar seni. Dia berteman dengan Claude Monet di Giverny, dan menikahi putri tirinya, Suzanne Hoschedé. Setelah kematiannya, dia menikahi saudara perempuannya, Marthe Hoschedé. Butler adalah anggota pendiri Masyarakat Seniman Independen.

Subjek yang dipilih Butler adalah adegan domestik keluarga dan teman-teman dan lanskap Prancis. Meskipun pendekatan Impresionistisnya terhadap lukisan terkadang mencerminkan pengaruh ayah mertuanya, karyanya juga menunjukkan kecenderungan Pascimpresionisme.[1]
