Thylamys adalah sebuah genus oposum pada famili Didelphidae. Pramaksila mereka berujung bulat, bukan runcing. Betinanya tidak memiliki kantong. Puting betina tersusun dalam dua jajaran simetris di perutnya.[2] Studi genetis mengindikasikan bahwa genus ini muncul sekitar 14 juta tahun lalu.[3]
