Tichel
Tichel (Yiddish טיכל tikhl), juga disebut mitpachat (bahasa Ibrani: מִטפַּחַת miṭpaḥat), adalah sebuah kata Yiddish untuk penutup kepala yang dipakai oleh sebagian besar wanita Yahudi Ortodoks yang menjalankan sebuah kewajiban yang dikenal sebagai tzniut, yang mewajibkan wanita yang berrumah tangga untuk menutup rambut mereka.[1] Tichel dapat meliputi sebuah bandana kapas berwarna polos sederhana yang diikat pada bagian belakang sampai penutup kepala berhias yang memakai berbagai hiasan dan teknik-teknik ikat.
