Tonra adalah sebuah kecamatan di Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia.[1] Nama "Tonra" berasal dari kata "sitondra" dalam bahasa Bugis, yang berarti "saling beriringan," "berduyun-duyun," atau "berbondong-bondong". Ini mengacu pada peristiwa di masa lalu di mana penduduk dari wilayah sekitar berbondong-bondong mencari tempat tinggal baru.
