Tony Doogan

Tony Doogan adalah produser rekaman asal Skotlandia yang mengelola Castle of Doom Studios di Glasgow. Ia dikenal terutama melalui karyanya bersama Mogwai dan Belle & Sebastian. Selain itu, ia juga pernah bekerja dengan sejumlah musisi lain, termasuk The Mountain Goats, Teenage Fanclub, the Delgados,[1] Wintersleep,[2] Els Amics de les Arts, Hefner,[3] Oohyo[4] serta the Young Knives dalam album mereka Superabundance.[5]

Doogan mulai berkecimpung dalam rekaman suara sejak usia 14 tahun, dengan membantu teknisi tata suara di gereja setempat untuk pertunjukan amatir yang digelar di sana.[6] Ia juga pernah bekerja sama dengan produser Dave Fridmann, yang pertama kali ditemuinya saat menggarap album Delgados, The Great Eastern,[6] dan kemudian berkolaborasi lagi dalam album Wintersleep, Hello Hum.[7]
