Tony Judt

Tony Robert Judt FBA (/dʒʌt/ ; 2 Januari 1948 – 6 Agustus 2010)[1] adalah seorang sejarawan, penulis esai, dan profesor universitas Inggris-Amerika yang berspesialisasi dalam sejarah Eropa. Judt pindah ke New York dan menjabat sebagai Profesor Erich Maria Remarque dalam Studi Eropa di Universitas New York dan Direktur Institut Erich Maria Remarque di NYU. Dia sering menjadi kontributor The New York Review of Books. Pada tahun 1996, Judt terpilih sebagai Anggota Akademi Seni dan Sains Amerika dan pada tahun 2007 menjadi Anggota Akademi Inggris.
