Trik tali nilon adalah sebuah demonstrasi saintifik yang mengilustrasikan beberapa prinsip kimia fundamental dari polimerisasi pertumbuhan bertahap dan memberikan para murid dan pengamat lain dengan demonstrasi tangan dari persiapan polimer sintetis.

Trik tali nilon biasanya memakai larutan air alipatik diamina dengan larutan alipatik diasid klorida dalam sebuah bahan yang tak larut dalam air, menciptakan poliamida sintetis dari jenis nilon.

Trik tali nilon dikembangkan sebagai demonstrasi saintifik oleh kimiawan Amerika Serikat Stephanie Kwolek yang menciptakan Kevlar aramid.[1]
