Type 279 radar
Type 279 radar adalah sebuah radar peringatan dini yang dikembangkan angkatan laut Inggris selama Perang Dunia II dari Type 79. dengan peringatan set udara metrik. Antena Tx dan Rx terpisah, dikombinasikan Jenis operasi antena tunggal 279M. Set ini juga memiliki pencarian permukaan sekunder dengan permukaan dan kemampuan meriam udara dan menggunakan Precision Ranging Panel, yang melewati radar akurat berkisar langsung ke meja HACS (analog komputer).[1][2]
