U.S. Route 3 adalah sebuah U.S. Highway utara–selatan yang membentang dari ujung selatannya di Cambridge, Massachusetts[2] melintasi New Hampshire ke ujung utaranya dekat Third Connecticut Lake di perbatasan Kanada, kemudian jalan ini berlanjut ke utara dengan nama Quebec Route 257.
Di New Hampshire, beberapa bagian US 3 dikenal sebagai Daniel Webster Highway. Dari Burlington, Massachusetts ke Nashua, New Hampshire, US 3 menjadi sebuah jalan bebas (bagian sepanjang 67 mil (108 km) di New Hampshire adalah bagian bebas dari Everett Turnpike). Bagian jalan bebas kedua merentang di utara New Hampshire, tempat US 3 kemudian melintasi Franconia Notch Parkway dan bagian kecil Interstate 93, sebelum berlanjut menjadi jalan dua lajur ke utara menuju perbatasan Kanada. Ujung selatan rute ini tidak berubah, sementara ujung utaranya semakin berubah.
Massachusetts Route 3 melintasi Boston menuju Cape Cod, tetapi tidak pernah menjadi bagian dari US 3.
