Valvifera adalah isopoda krustasea laut. Valvifera dibedakan dengan uropod datar, seperti-katup yang bersendi lateral dan melipat ke dalam di bawah bagian belakang tubuh mereka, menutupi pleopod.[1] Beberapa spesies adalah omnivora, dan menjadi pemakan bangkai efektif di ekonomi laut.
