Vinod K. Aggarwal (lahir 26 November 1953) adalah guru besar ilmu politik di Haas School of Business dan ketua Berkeley APEC Study Center (BASC) di Universitas California, Berkeley.^[1] Ia juga bekerja sebagai guru besar tamu di INSEAD Asia,^[2] narablog Harvard Business Review,^[3] dan kontributor New York Times.^[4] Ia juga menjabat sebagai pemimpin redaksi jurnal Business and Politics.^[5] Aggarwal sering berkomentar dan menulis tentang isu-isu ekonomi politik internasional.

Pada tahun 2006, Aggarwal menyebut kebijakan perdagangan selektif Washington menghambat pembentukan zona Asia Pasifik.^[6] Ia memperkirakan bahwa bertambahnya defisit perdagangan AS dengan Tiongkok berpeluang menggagalkan segala bentuk perjanjian perdagangan regional antara Amerika Serikat dan Tiongkok di Kongres sampai masa yang tidak ditentukan.^[6] Ketika resesi global 2009, Aggarwal vokal mengkritik teori Benteng Asia bahwa negara-negara Asia Timur seperti Tiongkok dan Jepang akan menjadi blok dagang proteksionis yang menolak barang impor Barat.^[7]
