Vladimir Demikhov

Transplantasi kepala anjing yang terakhir kalinya ia lakukan pada 13 Januari 1959 in Jerman Timur.

Vladimir Petrovich Demikhov (bahasa Rusia: Влади́мир Петро́вич Де́михов; Khutor Kulikovsky, 18 Juli 1916 – Moskow, 22 November 1998)[1] adalah seorang menjadi ilmuwan dari Uni Soviet. Beliau juga merupakan pionir dari transplantasi organ di dunia. Beliau juga melakukan beberapa transplantasi pada tahun 1930 - 1950, antara lain transplantasi jantung, transplantasi paru-paru pada hewan, transplantasi kepala anjing bahkan beliau juga pernah melakukan transplantasi gila, yaitu menyambungkan 2 kepala anjing dalam satu tubuh anjing.
