Wallace Akers

Sir Wallace Alan Akers (9 September 1888 – 1 November 1954) adalah seorang kimiawan dan pengusaha industri Britania. Ia memulai karier akademisnya di Oxford dengan spesialisasi kimia fisik. Saat Perang Dunia II, ia menjadi direktur Tube Alloys, proyek rahasia Britania yang bertujuan meneliti dan mengembangkan bom atom (1941-1945). Setelah perang selesai ia menjadi direktur penelitian di perusahaan Imperial Chemical Industries, menjadi anggota Departemen Penelitian Sains dan Industri di negaranya.
