Walter Franz Maria Stennes (12 April 1895 – 19 Mei 1983) adalah seorang pemimpin Sturmabteilung (SA, stormtroopers, atau "baju cokelat") Partai Nazi di Berlin dan daerah sekitarnya. Pada bulan Agustus 1930, ia memimpin pemberontakan terhadap Adolf Hitler, pemimpin partai, dan kepala daerah partai yang ditunjuk Hitler di daerah Berlin, Joseph Goebbels. Perselisihan tersebut terjadi atas kebijakan dan praktik Hitler dalam penggunaan SA, dan tujuan mendasar dari organisasi paramiliter tersebut. Hitler memadamkan pemberontakan tersebut dengan damai, tetapi setelah pemberontakan kedua pada bulan Maret–April 1931, SA dibersihkan dan Stennes dikeluarkan dari partai.
