webOS dikenal juga dengan nama Open webOS atau LG webOS (Sebelumnya diketahui sebagai HP webOS dan Palm webOS)adalah sistem operasi yang dimiliki oleh LG (sebelumnya milik Hewlett-Packard) dan berbasis Linux. Awalnya dikembangkan oleh Palm, kemudian diambil oleh Hewlett-Packard untuk digunakan pada perangkat pintar seperti Smart TV. webOS diperkenalkan oleh Palm pada bulan Januari 2009, tetapi pada tanggal 18 Agustus 2011, HP mengumumkan untuk tidak melanjutkan pembuatan semua peranti keras yang menggunakan webOS. Beberapa ponsel pintar yang menggunakan webOS sebagai sistem operasinya adalah Pre series, Pixi, dan Veer.[2][3]
