Wendelin Werner
Wendelin Werner (lahir September 1968 di Jerman) ialah matematikawan Prancis-Jerman yang bekerja dalam area jalan sembarang menjauhi diri, evolusi Schramm-Loewner, dan teori terkait dalam teori probabilitas dan fisika matematika. Pada 2006, pada Kongres Matematikawan Internasional ke-25 di Madrid, Spanyol ia menerima Medali Fields. Kini ia guru besar di University of Paris-Sud di Orsay.
Werner menjadi warga negara Prancis pada 1977. Ia belajar di École Normale Supérieure dari 1987 hingga 1991. Gelar doktornya pada 1993 tertulis di Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie dan diawasi oleh Jean-François Le Gall. Werner ialah perwira riset di CNRS dari 1991 hingga 1997.
Ia menerima penghargaan lain, termasuk Hadiah George Pólya 2006 SIAM dengan kolaboratornya Gregory Lawler dan Oded Schramm.
