DragonFire

DragonFire er et britisk laserenergivåben (LDEW) under udvikling for den britiske flåde. Det blev først afsløret for offentligheden som en teknologidemonstration i 2017 på Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI)-konferencen i London og udvikles af UK DragonFire, et samarbejde bestående af MBDA UK, Leonardo UK, QinetiQ og Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (dstl).[1] En produktionsversion forventes at blive taget i brug ombord på skibe i den britiske flåde i 2027.[2]

Hvert laserskud anslås til at koste mindre end 86 kr (10£).[3]
