Genlisea er en planteslægt i Blærerod-familien (Lentibulariaceae). De 30 arter[1] er kødædende planter[2][3] og er udbredt i den nye verden, Afrika og Madagaskar.[1]

Beskrivelse

Genlisea-arter er rodløse, rosetformede,[3] terrestriske,[2] etårige eller flerårige urteagtige planter. De er relativt små med en diameter på 1-5 cm og en højde på kun få cm. De fleste arter danner løbere.[3]

Taksonomi

Den blev udgivet af Auguste François César Prouvençal de Saint-Hilaire i 1833.[1][4] Typen er Genlisea aurea A. St.-Hil.[4]
