Ruwa er en by i Mashonaland Eastprovinsen i Zimbabwe med 94.078 indbyggere,[1] beliggende 23 km sydøst for hovedstaden Harare på hovedvejen og jernbanelinjen Harare-Mutare.
Historie
I 1890'erne begyndte kommercielt landbrug i området, og en lille handelsstation i Ruwa blev etableret som et administrativt og handelscenter for det blandede landbrugssamfund.[2] Dens første lokale myndighed, Bromley-Ruwa Rural Council (BRRC), blev oprettet i 1950.
