The Chats er et australsk punk-rockband, som blev dannet i Sunshine Coast, Queensland i 2016.

Historie

The Chats blev dannet af de tre skolevenner Josh Price, Matt Boggis og Eamon Sandwith i 2016. De optog deres selvbetitlet EP i en lokal high schools musiklokale, og udgav det i november af samme år.[1] I juli 2017 udgav de deres anden EP, Get This in Ya!!, og fik her succes da sangen "Smoko" gik viral på YouTube.[2]

De udgav deres første studiealbum, High Risk Behaviour, i marts 2020.[3] Det blev opfulgt af deres andet album Get Fucked i august 2022.[4]
