AFC Wimbledon 2023–24 football season
The 2023–24 season was the 22nd season in the history of AFC Wimbledon and their second consecutive season in League Two . The club participated in League Two , the FA Cup , the EFL Cup , and the 2023–24 EFL Trophy .

Pre-season and friendlies
On May 15, Wimbledon announced a pre-season tour to Alicante in Spain for a six-day warm-weather training camp.[ 47] Two days later, the first match was confirmed, against Woking .[ 48] A home friendly, against Portsmouth was also added to the pre-season calendar.[ 49] A third friendly opposition was confirmed, in Queens Park Rangers visiting.[ 50] During the clubs stay in Alicante, it was revealed a fixture would be played against Reading .[ 51] A fifth fixture was confirmed in late June, against Southend United .[ 52]
