2026 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup
The 2026 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup will be the 12th edition of the AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup (including previous editions of the AFC U-20 Women's Championship and AFC U-19 Women's Championship), the biennial international youth football championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the women's under-20 national teams of Asia. It will be held between 1–18 April 2026.[1] For the first time, total of twelve teams will compete in the tournament,[2] in another first there will be no third place playoff.[3] The top three teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup as the AFC representatives. DPR Korea are the defending champions. QualificationThe host country will qualify automatically. In a change of rules, from this edition the top three teams of the previous tournament will not qualify automatically,[2] while the other eleven teams will be decided by qualification. In a change from previous editions, there will be only one round of qualifying which will take place between 2–10 August 2025.[1] Qualified teamsThe following teams qualified for the tournament.
