In July 2017, it was announced that Zreľák had signed a contract with 2. Bundesliga club Nürnberg.[citation needed] In late February 2019, he tore his cruciate ligament during training and missed the rest of the 2018–19 Bundesliga.[citation needed] In February 2021, Zreľák requested his release from Nürnberg due to low playing time and upcoming contract expiration.[2]
