The men's hammer throw at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, as part of the athletics programme, took place in the Carrara Stadium in Queensland on 8 April 2018.[1]

The winning margin was 5.38 metres which as of 2024 remains the only time the men's hammer throw has been won by more than 5 metres at these games.
