It includes following districts:

• Vadodara
• Mahisagar
• Anand (called Charotar)^[1]
• Kheda
• Panchmahal
• Dahod
• Chhota Udaipur
• Amdavad (Ahmedabad)

The population of this region is 21,221,431 people according to the 2011 Census of India.
