Former District in South Khorasan, Iran
Dastgerdan District (Persian : بخش دستگردان ) is a former administrative division of Tabas County , South Khorasan province, Iran . Its capital was the city of Eshqabad .[ 3]
History
Tabas County became a part of Yazd province in 2001.[ 4] It was separated from the province to join South Khorasan province in 2013.[ 5]
In 2024, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Eshqabad County .[ 6]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 11,659 in 3,246 households.[ 7] The following census in 2011 counted 10,826 people in 3,284 households.[ 8] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 10,255 inhabitants in 3,350 households.[ 2]
